Est Ouest was founded more than a decade ago. Inspired by the nature and tranquility of Western Canada, the idea is to create buildings in your own image, reflecting your lifestyle.
The origin of Est Ouest
After working on construction projects in Western Canada, François decided to return to Quebec to start Est Ouest with his father, Jean Bouchard. This rich experience has allowed him to work in symbiosis with nature and to adapt his working methods to the environment.
Est Ouest is a Quebec construction company (Est) inspired by the lifestyle of British Columbia (Ouest).

Construction is in our blood
François, the co-founder of Est Ouest, has been involved in construction since his youth. As a teenager, he always had a hammer or a saw in his hand, ready to build a mountain bike module, a Skate Park or to help his father on a construction project.
For François, building was a passion before becoming a profession, so it’s no surprise that he co-founded Est Ouest with his father Jean.
